L&A Création attaches great importance to protecting your personal data. This page explains what data is collected on the website www.letacreation.fr, why, and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés).

1. Data controller

2. Data collected

We only collect the data we need: surname, first name, delivery and billing addresses, email address, phone number, order details, messages sent via the contact or made-to-measure order forms, and browsing data (cookies).

Bank details are entered directly on the secure platform of our payment provider (Stripe): L&A Création never has access to them and does not store them.

3. Why this data is used

– To process, ship and track your orders (performance of the contract);
– To answer your questions and made-to-measure requests (pre-contractual measures);
– To meet our accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation);
– To measure website traffic, only if you agree (consent).

4. Who receives this data

Your data is processed by Christelle Guertin and is never sold. It is only shared with the service providers needed to run the shop: Odoo SA (website hosting), Stripe (payment) and the carriers Mondial Relay and La Poste (delivery). Some providers may process data outside the European Union; such transfers are then covered by appropriate safeguards (European Commission standard contractual clauses).

5. How long data is kept

– Customer data: for the duration of the business relationship, then 3 years after the last order;
– Invoices and accounting records: 10 years (legal obligation);
– Contact requests without an order: 3 years after the last exchange;
– Cookies: 13 months maximum.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time and to give instructions about what happens to your data after your death. To exercise these rights, write to l.acreation@yahoo.fr. You will receive a reply within one month.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
