Reusable makeup remover pads

If there is one daily habit that marks the end of our day, it is removing our makeup. It is the moment when we clear away impurities to let our skin breathe, a real transition into evening relaxation. But have you ever worked out how many disposable cotton pads end up in the bin every month?

Today, I suggest turning this step into a real cosy ritual with washable makeup remover pads. A small revolution for your bathroom that is as good for your face as it is for our environment.

The 3 secrets of my soft pads In my workshop in Charente-Maritime, I have thought about every skin type and every routine. That is why my pads come in three specific versions.

What do they have in common? They all have one side in plush bamboo microfibre: an incredibly soft material that has the great advantage of staying soft even after many washes!

To suit your needs, here are the three versions I offer:

• The Cotton Gauze version: Paired with a side in ultra-soft printed cotton gauze. It is the comforting little cloud that is perfect for the most sensitive skin, and it adds a touch of elegance to your bathroom too.

• The Waffle Cotton version (Double-sided): The other side is in plain waffle cotton. This slightly honeycombed texture means you can use both sides of the pad. The waffle side is absolutely ideal for gently lifting even the most stubborn makeup.

• The Cotton Terry version (Double-sided) : Here, the microfibre is paired with a side in plush cotton terry. Also usable on both sides, it offers a generous cleanse and total comfort every day.

How do you care for them easily? This is often the question that makes people hesitate, and yet it is child's play!

1. Every day : After removing your makeup, simply rinse your pad in hot water with a little soap. Then leave it to dry (on your heated towel rail, for example). This way, you can easily reuse it 2 to 3 times before washing it!

2. In the machine: For a deep clean, put your pads in a laundry bag (you will find very handy ones right here in the shop) so they don't get lost in the drum, and wash them with your laundry.

3. One more tip : Air drying is ideal for preserving the fibres. And for those who love an impeccable finish, all my pads can be ironed without any problem.
